RBC Water (Formerly known as REI-Biwater Consortium)

REI-Biwater Consortium, or RBC was formed in 2000 as a Joint Venture between Rohas Euco Industries (REI) and Biwater Plc to carry out the 800 MLD Bukit Badong Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Selangor, Malaysia. Following the successful completion of the Bukit Badong WTP, RBC executed the Yen So Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2015, Biwater Malaysia sold its shares in RBC to REI. RBC is now wholly owned by REI and part of the Rohas Tecnic Berhad Group. RBC has been renamed RBC WATER. Rohas Tecnic Berhad (RTB) is a Malaysia-based group with businesses in the manufacture of lattice and monopole towers for power and telecommunications, and the undertaking of EPCC works for power, telecommunications and water sectors. RTB is also currently constructing a 7MW mini-hydro power plant in Aceh, with a 49% stake in PT Century Abadi Perkasa, which has a 20-year PPA with PLN. RTB is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. RBC Water is now in an expansion phase and intends to participate in projects related to our business in Malaysia and other South-East Asia countries. RBC provides comprehensive and customized solutions to a wide spectrum of water and wastewater treatment engineering by our experienced technical team. Our business also provides EPC and O&M in the BOT business model.
