RBLI Lifeworks

RBLI is a charity with a proud military heritage with an employment focus that stretches back over 100 years. Our national Lifeworks programme is recognised as a gold standard of employability support to veterans and military families. It offers intensive, tailored employability and resettlement support to assist those struggling to move into meaningful and sustainable employment, education or training. To date we have helped over 1500 veterans from all three Services. Our LifeWorks team consists of an experienced leadership team, occupational psychologists, trainers and support staff - many former military and emergency service personnel; this unique combination enables us to provide an intensive course which can turn around lives in just one week. Our programme of support includes a vocational assessment to help beneficiaries identify appropriate career direction and better understand their skill set; coaching for change – to help veterans deal with change and to be adaptable in employment and other areas of their life; employability skills including developing a winning CV, application forms, mock interview and interview preparation; and how to best showcase their unique transferable skills to employers.
