Rotary Club of Bangalore

RC Bangalore was chartered in 1934, and was the 6th Club to be set up in Colonial India. It has over 300 members. It has spent over Rs. 25 cr on its own projects in the past decade and also donated over $1.4 m to Rotary International. Each & every member of the Club is an exemplary representative of his/her chosen Vocation with a strong sense of duty & service to the society/community. Every vocation, be it from Industry, Commerce, Finance, Legal, Medical or the Fine Arts is abundantly represented. Rotary rests on the twin pillars of Fellowship & Service. RCB has over the past 8 decades used the vehicle of friendship & camaraderie of its members to establish innumerable projects. A model blood Bank, a School imparting quality subsidized education, a hospital in Rural Bangalore, 108 Happy Schools, a Library, the longest-running Inter Collegiate quiz competition, and more are some notable ones.
