RCM began in 2009, working on turnaround and restructuring mandates. We started making our own investments in 2011, and have been focussed exclusively on our own direct investing since 2015. RCM is a special situations investor in the truest sense – funding companies taking advantage of critical strategic opportunities which fall outside of other investor’s mandates. We execute transactions that aren’t run-of-the-mill – they take work, flexibility and creativity to complete. To make them successful over time requires care, patience, problem-solving and good will. Our success relies on patient and long-term investors, professionals who bring us transactions and help us complete them, and good relationships with our investees. We execute transactions and manage investments that others cannot.
