RCSI School of Population Health

The RCSI School of Population Health works to enhance human health through understanding, safeguarding and improving the health of populations through research, education and synergistic collaborations. Building on an RCSI tradition in public health that stretches back to 1841, the School of Population Health was established in 2022 and brings together epidemiologists, data scientists, biostatisticians, public health professionals, health economists and health behavioural scientists. Reflecting the convergent nature of population health science, the School consists of academic departments and research units in public health and epidemiology, health psychology, data science, healthcare outcomes, and global surgery. The School has a diverse portfolio of population health research, a structured PhD programme (SPHeRE) and spearheads population health education at undergraduate and postgraduate level across the university.
