MISSION To provide frequent courses to enable medical students to acquire essential research skills. 3. OBJECTIVES • To develop scientific research culture among the medical students. • To boost the university ranking among the national and international universities. • To provide medical students with the abilities and skills to publish articles in top-ranked journals. • To qualify medical students to participate in respected research conferences. • To keep the medical student up to date with the medical literature. 4. GOALS • Improve the medical students’ skills in searching medical databases. • Help medical students acquire the skills to get to the point information for the best of their patients. • Improve the medical student's abilities to find, read and criticize literature. • Enhance medical students’ understanding of various study designs and the proper use of each of them. • Reinforce the evidence-based medicine practice early in the medical career. • Improve the medical students’ writing skills. • Prepare +1000 students with the skills needed to invade the scientific research field.
