RD’s story began in 1976, when Rodrigo E. Rivera Sr. and his wife, Dolores, started a pawnshop business in General Santos City. Twenty-three years later, in 1999, RD Corporation (RDC) was established as a holding company. Today, RD Corporation is engaged in fishing, aquaculture, tuna processing and canning, shipbuilding and repair, manufacturing, retail agribusiness, finance, hotel and resort management, realty development, and hospital enterprise in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Melanesia, Europe and United States. We firmly commit to responsible and ethical business practices. Our long-term goal is to maintain a balance between business growth and social responsibility.
