R.D. Mechanical Services was established in 1998 and since then have been involved in the maintenance, repair and servicing of all types of municipal vehicles and plant equipment. We specialize in equipment related to the Waste Industry and we have Modern well equipped workshop facilities here at Mallusk. We currently employ 14 Service Engineers and Fabricator / Welders and carry a full range of Spare Parts for the Aebi - Schmidt Swingo range of Compact Roadsweepers, Holder Multi purpose Tractors / Sweepers and NTM Refuse collection Bodies. We cover all types of repairs on the above from servicing and P.S.V. work to major overhauls of compaction equipment and refuse bodies. We can carry out all sorts of fabrication work including aluminium welding repairs. We have invested heavily in Workshop equipment i.e. Maha Brake tester / Headlamp Alignment and we have recently purchased the latest Diagnostic equipment from TEXA & STAR. We currently Service and repair all leading Refuse Vehicles / Skiploaders & Hookloaders from Dennis / Heil / RosRoca / Garwood / Faun / Hyva / Unilift / Harsh etc.
