Drones and AI go hand in hand. Any machine operating with some degree of autonomy needs, in a sense, to understand its environment. There are also obvious goals to achieve: a flight path, an obstacle to avoid, a point of interest to survey. But in addition to the basic functions of today's flying cameras, artificial intelligence is proving useful when it comes to drone data analysis. Drones can collect data from all kinds of sensors in all kinds of scenarios, and AI helps us make informed decisions both in real time and at later stages. This is the kind of thing that we do at RBD and that are our reason to exist.
