RDYSTDY is a visual production studio based in Wellington, NZ and Melbourne, AU with an international practice. Founded by Hana Miller and Jacob Perkins.
RDYSTDY has 3 departments. In each of these, we are on board from the beginning to end, bringing together the best teams of talented artists, producers, animators, illustrators, designers, coders, composers, and engineers.
Art: We work with artists who are interested in exploring video and projection conceptually and for live performance. We have collaborated on award-winning, internationally toured, and highly reviewed works with contemporary choreographers, dancers, musicians, composers and scientists. We are interested in innovative use of video and projection, particularly immersive cinema, projection mapping, and the moving image as a mode of inquiry.
Commercial: We work with designers to create moving images, videos and campaigns that can be used for marketing, social media, and website interface. We have worked with international luxury brands in fashion, kids, accessories, outdoor goods, and homeware.
Film & TV: We work with broadcasters, networks and other production companies, to create innovative series and digital games for children. The first season our pre-school series RiDDLE + SQUiZZ is out on TVNZ, along with our digital app of eight mini games EYE SPiES.
