About RE-CONNECT project
RE-CONNECT, funded by the European Commission, supports a range of countries to build capacity in the modelling, projections and tracking of GHG emissions, helping them to comply with their reporting requirements under the Paris Agreement. Operating until early 2028, RE-CONNECT brings together international experts and participants from diverse countries to: • Enhance the monitoring, reporting, verification, and utilisation of GHG emissions data. • Strengthen the capacity of Paris Agreement signatories to collect and report robust GHG emissions data and associated policies. • Sustainably improve mitigation modelling capabilities in target countries and foster their utilisation by policymakers. • Promote transparency in processes and reporting, fostering trust and collaboration among participating countries while accumulating robust GHG emission datasets.
