Wat? Duurzame fietsen vanaf €125,- Hoe? Door weesfietsen te recyclen en refurbishen, redden wij fietsen van de stort. Daarnaast creëren we werkgelegenheid voor mensen met afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt. Waarom? Fietsen is natuurlijk al bijzonder duurzaam. Jaarlijks komen er in Nederland echter een m i l j o e n nieuwe fietsen bij. Dat kost veel grondstoffen en CO2-uitstoot. Tegelijkertijd belanden honderdduizenden bruikbare fietsen op de schroothoop, bijvoorbeeld nadat ze als zwerffiets door de gemeente zijn meegenomen. Re-Cycled zorgt dat deze fietsen een nieuwe lieve eigenaar krijgen door ze helemaal op te knappen en te verkopen. Naast de webshop is er ook een werkplaats/winkel. En wel in de Nijmeegse broedplaats De Smeltkroes.
