[RE]MEDs

The objective of [RE]MEDs is to contribute to the discovery of new medicinal applications to meet significant unmet medical needs, leveraging the most sophisticated data science technology. To achieve this, we have developed an AI-powered methodology and corresponding technology for in-silico studies of medicinal effects, utilizing extensive electronic databases of medical, hospital, and administrative health records. Our current focus is on autoimmune disorders. Founded in 2020 by research entrepreneurs with internationally renowned scientific reputations and a track record of highly successful business ventures, [RE]MEDs was instrumental in evaluating drugs during the pandemic and researching solutions using existing data. The company currently employs a diverse team of about a dozen staff, including university professors in pharmacoepidemiology and biostatistics, PhD-level Data/AI scientists, senior programmers, and engineers. This internationally-based team has expertise in hundreds of electronic health and medical databases worldwide. The team is headed by Billy Amzal, PhD, CEO, a biomathematician (École Polytechnique, France) with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and related consulting firms. The Chief Scientific Officer is Prof. Yola Moride, former President of the International Society of PharmacoEpidemiology (ISPE), research professor at Rutgers University (USA), and founder of an international consultancy. The founder and Board President is Prof. Lucien Abenhaim, who previously worked at the WHO and founded several highly successful international Medtech companies. [RE]MEDs’ business model encompasses proprietary research and collaborative research with industry, NGOs, or academia. It is backed by the BPI/Deeptech program (France).
