Along with Senvion India Private Limited, RE Technologies GmbH houses some of the best brains in the Industry. The centre has the capabilities and capacity to upgrade existing wind turbine designs and to develop future turbine designs. The core competencies are in the area of overall turbine design, system integration, subsystem and component design.
The key activities undertaken are covering activities in the area of system engineering and industrialization for entire wind turbines in the range of 2MW up to 6MW for onshore turbines. The wind turbines being developed are of the type horizontal axis machines with 3 bladed rotor and are covering the following subsystems and components:
