Generation Youth (GenUth)

GenUth is a powerhouse of 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, and an 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 organization committed to advancing the well-being and rights of children, youth, and communities. Through a multifaceted approach encompassing 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, and 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬, we forge pathways to lasting impact. As a youth-led initiative, we embody the spirit of 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, pioneering solutions at the intersection of 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥, 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥, and 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. Our vision is to 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 of support and collaboration, uniting Sri Lankans across the world under a common goal of 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, and forge a 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐬, fostering solidarity and progress around the world. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 At GenUth, our mission is to reignite the 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 and 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 within the 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚. In the wake of the 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, the youth movement 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 and passion. However, the ensuing 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 has led to a 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 in our country. #𝟏 We are committed to 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝 by empowering the next generation of leaders to rebuild our nation. #𝟐 We aim to create 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐝 of them by transforming despair into determination and action through confidence-building and support systems.
