Reach Teacher Training

"Training the next generation of teachers who will ensure every child can enjoy a life of choice and opportunity." Our training partnership with SWTT is research informed and focussed on deliberate practice to enable a pipeline of teachers who can make a massive contribution to the teaching profession moving forward. Our mission is to help our trainees to develop excellent mental models to become experts in planning a knowledge based curriculum with direct instruction and retrieval practice at its core. We strive to ensure all trainees have regular opportunities to deliberately practice what they have been taught and put theory into practice so they will continue to reduce the attainment gap and provide all pupils fair and equal access to the curriculum. We are primarily based in Reach Schools - small all-through schools based in Feltham - and also partner with other local schools as a place based organisation to ensure the children of Feltham get the incredible education they deserve.
