The REACH (Reading Enriches All Children) mission is to support the literacy needs of homeless and at-risk children. REACH (Reading Enriches All Children) supports the literacy needs to hundreds and hundreds of children in Southeastern Virginia to help break the cycle of poverty. In 2016, REACH distributed 18,535 books to children in need. Through the help of 223 read-aloud volunteers, REACH conducted 366 read-aloud's in our partner shelters, reading over 1,098 stories! As a result, this positively impacted the literacy needs of over 1,000 individual at-risk and homeless children.
