About ReAct - Action on Antibiotic Resistance
ReAct is global network dedicated to the problem of antibiotic resistance. The professionals working with ReAct have backgrounds ranging from global health, microbiology, health care professionals to journalists and communication experts. Together we take global, regional and local action on antibiotic resistance. Based on five continents ReAct advocates for the adoption of a holistic view of the problem of antibiotic resistance and solutions that engage all of society. We believe that sustainable access to affordable and effective prevention and treatment of bacterial infections is part of everyone’s right to health. WE SHARE INFORMATION ReAct is a focal point for sharing and disseminating information about antibiotic resistance including in-country experiences and best practices on managing antibiotic resistance. WE ENCOURAGE ACTION We need to act together - everyone can take action for a world free from fear of untreatable infections. WE INFLUENCE POLICY Antibiotic resistance is a threat to global health and human development. This calls for unprecedented global collective action across sectors and at all levels of society. ReAct was initiated with the goal to be a global catalyst, advocating and stimulating for global engagement on antibiotic resistance by collaborating with a broad range of organisations, individuals and stakeholders. Our vision and values are guided by the principle that solutions to contain antibiotic resistance must contribute to improving universal health coverage, global poverty reduction and support global development for all. www.reactgroup.org Twitter: @reactgroup Facebook: /reactgroup Sign up for ReAct Newsletter: https://www.reactgroup.org/contact/newsletter/
