Read It And Eat

Opened in 2015 in the heart of Lincoln Park, Read It & Eat is dedicated to providing its customers with exceptional culinary experiences through carefully curated books, events and demonstrations. While our book collection focuses on cookbooks of all shapes and sizes, we also carry a breadth of books on wine, beer, spirits and cocktails; food history, science and reference; memoirs, biographies and novels; travel and children's books. Our calendar of events features author and chef signings, demonstrations, tastings and hands-on cooking classes in our contemporary kitchen led by seasoned instructors. Our cookbook clubs meet monthly to discuss books, recipes and techniques while enjoying a meal together. We are proud to be Chicago's destination for culinary books and experiences.
