Since its inception in 1994, READ Foundation has been devoted to causing change by strengthening humanity through education in Pakistan. READ Foundation started its voyage from its first school in a small town called Riala in district Bagh of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir with only one teacher, 25 students and a total sum of monies Rs. 25,000 only. The organization has become one of the prime educational networks in the country, today. READ Foundation is providing quality education through financial assistance from kind-hearted individuals, philanthropic organizations and socially responsible businesses. We are also certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy for NPO Good Practices in Governance, Financial Management and Programme Delivery. Shariah Compliance Certification READ Foundation is certified by renowned Islamic Scholars for donation (Zakat, Sadaqat) collection and utilization of these donation for the cause of Education.
