Our specialized, dementia-friendly reading material allows adults to pursue their interests, to learn, to connect deeply with others, to help their peers, and to express themselves in genuine, unscripted ways. Reliance on care partners melts away. Well-being involves much more than engagement; it includes learning, belonging, and contributing. Our training program and specialized books open the door for experiences that define our humanity. Reading2Connect® assists staff and support partners in implementing personalized reading programs. Our methodology is an innovative, Montessori-based approach which allows adults living with cognitive changes to take leadership roles, collaborate with peers, and interact with our books, at their own pace, in their own way. The Reading2Connect® Program adapts to the needs of many settings, such as skilled nursing, memory care, adult day centers, traditional homes, hospitals, memory cafes, senior centers, libraries, museums, and places of worship.
