READIO, Ethiopia (Remote Care Empowerment and Development Initiative Organization) is a nationally licensed nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved and remote communities across Ethiopia. Founded in 2020 as a volunteer initiative and officially licensed in 2024, we deliver holistic solutions in healthcare, nutrition, emergency response, and sustainable development. Our Focus Areas • Healthcare and Nutrition: mobile-Health services, maternal and child health(MCH), screening and management of malnutrition in under five children,pregnant and lactating mothers, and psychosocial support. • Emergency Response: Response to disasters; recovery; and return or re-settling of affected populations. • Sustainable Development: Education; capacity building, and environmental care. Our team is composed of multidisciplinary members who come from different cadres and boast a number of 20.
