Realfio, founded in 1981, is a Portuguese company specialized in the production and commercialization of high quality industrial threads for customers manufacturing apparel, underwear, denim, leather accessories, footwear, home textiles, home furnishings, automotive components, medical protective clothing, outdoor applications, technical textiles, and embroidery. We are located in Guimarães, in the north of Portugal. Permanently attentive to the markets, Realfio strives to respond adequately to the demands of the current competitive context, through concrete and proactive measures. Quality is the most important factor in Realfio day to day, constantly improving through the certification of the quality management system (ISO 9001). The company is certified by Standard 100, by OEKO-TEX®, class 1. Realfio has own dyeing house and more than 1000 developed colors permanently available for its customers. PARTNERSHIP Besides own embroidery threads range, Realfio is the exclusive distributor of embroidery threads Lurex® brand in Portugal. SUSTAINABILITY In a context that is constantly changing and moving towards a more environmentally friendly world, Realfio remains attentive to the demands of the market and the needs of the planet. The range of sustainable products of Realfio® brand, which production seeks to reduce the impact on the environment, includes threads made from natural and organic fibers to vegan and recycled fibers – certified by Global Recycle Standard (GRS). Internally, there are several practices to raise awareness among employees so that, together, we become more responsible in our daily lives, both in terms of saving resources and in terms of their reuse.
