About Realtime Sensing

In 2018, I was working on a remodelling project at Liverpool Lime Street. One of the challenges we faced was how to eradicate the dust that was being generated from ballast drops, particularly silica dust. Our team was brought in to reduce the dust being emitted from each ballast drop, during the project we were asked if we could provide dust monitoring and reports and without fully understanding the market we tracked down a provider and outsourced the task to an environmental services company. At the time, their prices seemed high, but we passed them on. Looking back, it wasn’t just expensive it was ineffective. The monitoring methods were outdated, and the results were far from timely. I remember sitting in the mess room with the project manager having coffee, he expressed his frustration at the monitoring process: he said the method was poor, results took too long, and as for the cost, it wasn’t worth it but it was required. Over the years, as I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the industry, one thing has become clear: safeguarding the health and wellbeing of workers is critical to reduce the risk of occupational diseases and companies need effective and affordable solutions that deliver real-time results. So we have partnered with leading experts to offer dust and odour monitoring solutions designed for both short- and long-term projects at affordable rates. Realtime Sensing solutions make it possible to measure and analyse a wide range of pollutants in real time and accessible in minutes to your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone: Particulate matters (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ammoniac (NH3), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), etc., temperature and noise. Dust by optical counting particulate matters (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) Gases by electrochemical and semiconductors sensors -Ammoniac (NH3) Carbon monoxide (CO) Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) Sulphur dioxide (SO2) Ozone (O3) Hydrogen sulphide (H2S), Methane (CH4), etc...
