dISS is Jose Gome's multidisciplinary design atelier. I started my career with an early interest in animation where at the age of 17, I animated and directed a TV ad for Cinanima (Internationl Animated Film Festival). In the following year, I directed my fist 3D short feaure film "Pó d'Areia". A couple of years later, I moved to the UK to undertake a Graphic Design: New Media course at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) where I graduated with an Upper Second and Honours in 2008. I also taught at the university as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and later as a Seasonal Lecturer. For the past 5 years I've had the chance to build a rich freelance career, setting up my own design atelier and work with many studios across the UK and Europe. Some of these include: ilovedust, Maverick Media, Agency-Space, Social Uk, Ignition (now Ignite), Tynan d'Arcy, Hotcake Marketing, among others. And some exciting clients such as Microsoft, Jones Lang Lassale, New Balance, Nine West, Sony Playstation eyePet, John Smiths, BiC, IHG, Travleport, Butlins, Sellotape, Blackberry, Santander, and many more. - Jose Gomes
