The Real Estate Certificate (REC) at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) is an additional qualification designed for Master’s students across all disciplines. Starting in Autumn 2025, the REC offers a comprehensive, practice-oriented introduction to the real estate industry and its evolving market dynamics.
The program encompasses 24 ECTS credits, including two compulsory courses (8 ECTS) covering fundamentals such as real estate finance, investments, economics, construction, marketing, transaction management, and law. Students can further tailor their learning through elective courses (16 ECTS) to align with their individual interests.
Emphasizing real-world application, the REC integrates case studies, guest lectures, team teaching, and networking events in collaboration with leading real estate companies in Switzerland. This approach ensures students gain direct exposure to current industry challenges and practical experience in the field.
