REC Safety Solutions was founded in 2023 with the Mission of working with like minded employers to develop Occupational Health and Safety Programs that address the needs of the whole person to prevent psychological and physical workplace injuries.
With experience in varying industries, including Healthcare, Hospitality, Public and Private Education as well as Municipalities and Regional Districts, my 14 years of direct OH&S program development experience meets a passion for creating safer, healthier work environments. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, I apply my experience and education in hazard recognition, mitigation and control to the varied work environments and utilizes her strong communication skills to build relationships.
The skills of Health and Safety are vastly transferrable, and focus on the ability to Recognize, Evaluate and Control the hazards present in a work environment, and, as OH&S must be collaborative to be successful in achieving a Psychologically safe environment listening and connecting with workers, supervisors and managers fills any gaps.
Health and safety extends beyond checklists and regulations. I understand the holistic nature of well-being in the workplace. I delve deep into the intricacies of your organization's processes, culture, and unique challenges to devise comprehensive strategies that promote a culture of safety from the ground up. This holistic perspective ensures that our solutions are not only effective but also seamlessly integrated into your existing framework.
