Rec2Connect

At Rec2Connect, we are devoted to utilizing fully inclusive recreation therapy programs to connect people with and without disabilities and their families to community recreation, wellness, and lifelong leisure skills. We are dedicated to developing life-long skills, promoting access to recreation, and increasing community inclusion for people with and without disabilities and their families to enhance their quality of life. We utilize standardized assessments to identify our client’s needs, interests, and abilities, then use those assessments to develop individualized goals. We meet individuals where they are, and use their interests and preferences to customize programs. We also work with a variety of local agencies to assist with funding for our programs. Rec2Connect’s team consists of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets. Our team includes Recreation Therapists, Intervention Specialists, and Special Education Teachers. All of our team members have a passion for providing goal-driven and meaningful recreation therapy services in a community setting. All staff members complete Rec2Connect specialized training in therapeutic, procedural, and aquatic therapy prior to starting with clients. We work together to continue to grow and learn as a team, to be up-to-date on new practices and standards, and create a positive and supportive environment for all.
