About RECLAIM Project
RECLAIM is a project funded by Europa Horizon where the regional cities of Ålesund, Molde and Kristiansund are collaborating to tackle marine litter. The project is in patnership with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Framtidslaben, industries, voluntary clean-up organizations, students, and other municipalities within the region. The project combines public engagement, citizen science, technological innovation, and sustainable practices to address the issue of marine litter, focusing on the marine industries. Aligned with SeaClear2.0 vision, RECLAIM capitalizes on existing regional initiatives, utilizing local resources and expertise to amplify the impact of strategies and promote long-term environmental sustainability in the region.
