Recognize Education And Learning (REAL) is a way to introduce a new curriculum and a new way of learning that incorporates culturally relevant elements to make education and learning “cool” for students. REAL increases the appeal of education and provides a positive outlook on the opportunities that come with it. We serve schools and students of all ages, along with sports teams, by providing workshops led by college student mentors. The workshops go in depth on topics ranging from life skills to social/emotional learning to financial literacy, etc. REAL has a social media presence that includes positive educational strategies, news, and achievements by scholars of all ages.
Our mission is to dismantle the barriers to educational equity and foster an environment where students can thrive. By addressing the root causes of academic inequity, REAL empowers students with the resources and support systems necessary for success. We aim to inspire and influence youth on the value and importance of education by highlighting the opportunities it can provide to help them reach their full potential.
