ReCommon is dedicated to driving systemic impact across bioregions through innovative digital mapping and curated impact data solutions for regenerative land projects. Our mission is to empower organizations with the tools and insights necessary to make informed, sustainable land use decisions that foster resilient and regenerative communities. Originating from years of research and development as a nonprofit, ReCommon leverages a deep understanding of ecological systems and community needs to deliver comprehensive digital mapping solutions. By integrating local project data with global ecological datasets, we create detailed, actionable maps that enhance decision-making, improve stakeholder communication, and drive meaningful results in projects such as watershed restoration, conservation, sustainable agriculture, and resilient supply chains. In addition to our mapping services, we offer holistic consulting to support the implementation of regenerative initiatives. Our innovative frameworks, including the Adaptive Bioregional Governance model and the Regenerative Community Land Trust (RegenCLT), set new standards in land use, governance, and regenerative economic modeling, promoting sustainable community development. ReCommon has collaborated on impactful projects worldwide, including an indigenous-led initiative in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Our work has been featured in publications like “Bioregional Financing Facilities: Reimagining Finance to Regenerate Our Planet,” and we regularly contribute thought leadership through our ReCommon Litepaper and other writings. Our team members have presented at key industry events such as the Transformative Impact Summit during Climate Week NYC and the REGENERATION event by Regen Network. Additionally, our insights have been shared on popular platforms like the Doomer Optimism Podcast and the Blue Dot Podcast, and we are proud recipients of the Regen Foundation enDAOment program.
