recurso:CIUDAD is a group of professionals and change agents devoted to identifying spatial opportunities and promoting projects of physical and social impact - of domestic, communal and regional scale – in order to stimulate a better quality life. We are a design and construction consulting company committed to the concepts of adaptive reuse and urban infill, dedicated to identifying, evaluating and rehabilitating existing buildings and spaces with special potential. We believe that the city and its components should be thought of as renewable resources, and so we strive for working with restoring, repairing, reusing, and reconnecting spaces. Our specialty is researching, rehabilitating and renovating existing spaces and structures, so as to optimize their program, value and function. recurso:CIUDAD is driven by all project patrons, and focuses on finding responsible solutions that are also prosperous, sustainable and affordable. We offer integrated design and construction services, inspired by the economic, urban, social, and environmental situations, representative of the present time in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
