Founded in 2023, Redbox Exo is a dynamic travel agency that emerged from a journey of passion and resilience. Our story began when I, M Shane De Silva, returned to Sri Lanka from Australia in 2020. With a finance degree from Monash University, I found myself unexpectedly leading the revitalization of our family-owned resort. Despite my background, I embraced the challenge, and together with my team, we restored the property to its former glory.
The exceptional service we provided soon captured the attention of guests and agents, encouraging me to explore destination management services. Inspired by their feedback, Redbox Exo was born. In our first year, we have built strong partnerships with global agents and delivered memorable travel experiences to thousands of guests.
Our name, Redbox Exo, is deeply rooted in family history. "Redbox" was inspired by a partnership business my parents initiated in 2010 but never brought to life. Today, I have revitalized the name, combining it with "Exo" to evoke a sense of exploration and adventure.
At Redbox Exo, we cater to individuals, leisure groups, and business travelers, including MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) visitors. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of every traveler, ensuring a personalised and unforgettable experience.
