Remit (a product of RedCore Interactive) is a remittance service that offers real time money transfers from all over the world to registered mobile money users in Africa. Remit’s key advantage is that it seeks to be the fastest, cheapest, and safest way for Africa's Diaspora to send money home. The Remit platform is able to deliver remittances to Uganda for now. It delivers to registered mobile money users on the two main networks, MTN and Airtel. Airtel’s recent merger with Warid Telecom would expand our addressable market. These two carriers represent 98% of all mobile money users in Uganda. Plans to expand to other African countries are being implemented.
