Rede Dia is a platform that uses design, innovation and entrepreneurship as strategic drivers, supporting creatives, crafters and makers to create and sustain their craft-based business. It aims to support small craft businesses, develop and improve skills and techniques and be an interactive community of artisans and their production chain. Our focus is the differentiation and visibility of handcrafted products, increasing potential consumers, added value and adequate and relevant positioning. We also have a commitment to the gradual mapping of Portuguese artisanal activity, currently lacking in information, mainly from an economic point of view. This will happen as we transform the data generated by the platform into industry reports. Our team is made up of designers, researchers and educators, with extensive experience in methods of bringing together design, crafts and new technologies. Finally, we believe that we can take artisans and those who wish to live exclusively from crafts to a new competitive level, using design, innovation, entrepreneurship and, above all, AI (Artisanal Intelligence) as drivers of business opportunities.
