REDEFINED Lawyers

REDEFINED is an alternative learning platform for aspiring lawyers for underrepresented backgrounds. We deliver a range of webinars & masterclasses facilitated by experienced practitioners, trainee lawyers & other professionals. WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT DIFFERENT? We provide a holistic programme of learning that covers the traditional legal skills development but also emphasises personal growth and development. We curate diverse, representative and varied panels of contributors to amplify voices and experiences that are not always spotlighted. Through this we hope to reach out to aspiring lawyers from all walks of life. We are committed to widening access to legal knowledge, networks & opportunity for all. Through our community we are also building and nurturing a collective pro bono spirit and through our sessions we fundraise for important charities and social causes. Our sessions cover the following themes: INSIGHT: Hearing from practitioners about their journeys into law & advice they can provide SKILLS: Skills masterclasses on key areas such as advocacy, drafting & CVs, applications & interviews. GROWTH: Sessions focused on personal development and growth more broadly including mindset coaching and wellbeing. IN FOCUS: Panel events discussing topical and important topics such as diversity & inclusion.
