RedHeads Wine

Based in Angaston, Barossa, RedHeads has a dedication to sustainability and minimal intervention. By producing small-batch wines from an eclectic range of grape varieties grown locally that we "rescue", we can showcase their unique individuality and true characters. Our newly-built winery was opened in 2019, and was built with sustainability at its core. Our winery and cellar door bar run entirely on solar and battery energy, with the aim to be 100% off-grid in the not-too-distant future. RedHeads collects around 2,7000,000L rainwater and wastewater every year and shares it around the vineyard, storing it in a white-lined, onsite dam with a capacity of 3.8 mega-litres. We also keep things local, sourcing glass bottles, coffee and label printing locally to reduce our carbon footprint.
