After a collected stint in Dunedin studying commerce, the two Tauranga born and bred lads ventured home, twiddling their thumbs on what to do with the next port of call. So after the thumb-twiddling was done, and some quiet post-Dunedin time occurred, the boys decided to try to reinitiate the same styled approach in Tauranga. Which, inevitably was the birth of RedHearing and a more vibrant, fresh approach to a growing city and gig culture. A loan from Perry's nana allowed us to purchase some CDJ's and a mixer which facilitated the start of a few shindigs... and now we are here!
