Redonate Foundation is a student-run non-profit foundation based in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The team consists of purpose-driven international students from Maastricht University looking to make the world a little better.
Redonate provides microloans to individuals in developing countries in a way that stimulates their entrepreneurial spirit and leads to long-term economic independence. Microloans are small loans provided to individuals and small businesses that are excluded from conventional banking services. Thus, we help our borrowers to escape poverty and improve their standard of living in a sustainable way.
How does Redonate work?
Redonate raises donations to provide our partners in developing countries with these microloans. Once the loan is paid back, the money can be used for the next loan - it is «redonated». This allows the donation to enter a cycle in which it is used again and again, creating more value and reaching more people.
