The symptoms are few and by the time most people are diagnosed, it is usually well advanced and requires a substantial life changing operation or it may be too late altogether. Red Trouser Day is a charity dedicated to raising funds for research for the Royal Marsden scientists, for the direct prevention of bowel cancer through inclusive, easy and fun activities Red Trouser Day is a fun campaign where – with the exception of bank charges and printing - 100% of the funds raised are re-invested into research, prevention, innovation and education about bowel cancer Red Trouser Day educates people about how to avoid bowel cancer, spot the symptoms, cope with cancer and it also helps people feel better about themselves by participating in the event Red Trouser Day is a CIO registered with the Charity Commission, Registered Charity No. 1171208
