In collaboration with the Depression Association and Strategic Partner Morten E. Hjelmsø (co-owner), ree-wired has developed groundbreaking VR software to combat mistrivsel—a Danish term describing a state of unhappiness, discomfort, or poor well-being, often a precursor to depression. Our innovative solution enables anonymous at-home treatment to address these challenges effectively.
The Depression Association’s extensive expertise in managing depression and bipolar disorders has been instrumental in shaping this software. Their involvement has also connected us with leading specialists, including two professors of psychology and a PhD student, ensuring that the solution is rooted in evidence-based research. This collaboration is driving the development of effective treatments targeting mistrivsel and its progression to depression.
