ReFi the Hague

ReFi the Hague is a local node of ReFi DAO. While ReFi DAO is focused on developing strategic services and public goods for the Regenerative Finance (ReFi) ecosystem globally, ReFi the Hague is dedicated to implementing these principles on a local level. We bring regenerative web3 solutions to our community, connect with other ReFi and Web3 initiatives, and provide training and support for integrating web3 into sustainable projects. Our Mission Bringing co-ownership and inclusive decision-making to everyone in our local community. We support regenerative projects that align with our shared values, ensuring that every stakeholder has a voice and a stake in the success of these initiatives. Our Approach At ReFi the Hague, we created a future-fit framework for co-ownership and a more inclusive, fair way of influence for all stakeholders. Our legal setup integrates tokenization of equity through our holding structure, empowering all individuals and organizations by using a non-profit entity to help select and create positive projects. Guaranteed to be aligned with our shared values. We provide a fair distribution of voting power through our decision-making DAO, which processes votes based on role, location, and decision impact level. Current Projects We are currently advancing our legal setup for steward-ownership, tokenization, and decision-making via DAO. One of the key initiatives we support is a real-life regenerative project in Spain, where we’re supporting a non-profit collaborating with local partners to develop an AgriVoltaics project. This community-owned project will sustainably produce food and energy while regenerating the soil and combating desertification.
