💡We save high quality leather offcuts to create essential goods, not for the landfill ♻️We’re a social enterprise tapping into the circular economy to reduce textile waste in Australia 🎯We’re all about sustainable fashion, targeting SDGs 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, and 13 – Climate Action ––– ❗Australian textile waste is a major problem… • We consume a lot of textiles per person – 2nd only to the US worldwide • But we haven’t figured out what to do with textile waste - 93% of what’s produced goes to landfill ❗And leather is often the hardest impacted… • Increasingly, we're discovering ways to combine and recycle textiles into innovative materials • However, recycling leather severely damages its original quality, durability, and finish – a true shame! 👉Reform Leather Goods was established to tackle both of these issues – a line of essential leather goods that brings new life to upcycled offcuts.
