Refractiv is the work of Luca Pietropaolo.
A cross-disciplinary studio at the intersection of technology and visual art, based in Offenburg and Tokyo. Refractiv blends cultural perspectives to craft immersive environments that transform how people experience space through sensors, code, projection, and light. Every project is handled from concept to execution with meticulous attention to context and detail.
What we believe
Immersion transcends spectacle. It is about presence, narrative, and emotion, shaped through visual systems, responsive interaction, and architectural space. Some call it media architecture. Others, experiential design. We see it as a new kind of storytelling.

Approach
We collaborate with cultural institutions, architects, brands, and event producers.
