Refrigafreighters was founded in 2001, by Bryan Tracey and industry veteran Todd Gemmell, who’d specialised in transporting meat carcass throughout Auckland since the late 80’s. Bryan Ayson joined Refrigafreighters as a director in 2006, helping the company continue to grow quickly with several acquisitions and continued high quality excellent service. Bryan Ayson and Todd Gemmell sold their shareholdings in Refrigafreighters in 2012, when Glenn O’Sullivan and Bryan Tracey joined together to steer the company to what it has become today. Through a combination of continued business growth, acquisitions, investment, and the expansion and upgrading of the fleet, Refrigafreighters has become one of New Zealand’s top temperature-controlled transport, storage and distribution companies. We continue to remain 100% New Zealand owned, and are dedicated to providing innovative solutions, high quality service and storage facilities for our customers.
