Refugee-Led Research Hub company information, Employees & Contact Information

๐Ÿ‘‹๐ŸŒˆ The Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) is an initiative of the Refugee Studies Centre at the University of Oxford. Founded in October 2020, we support researchers with lived experience of displacement to become leaders in the fields related to forced migration, human right, and humanitarian response. The large majority of RLRH colleagues and all scholars identify as current or former refugees, asylum seekers, IDPs, and stateless persons. The RLRH is physically based in Kenya and the UK, but our programmes are available to affiates across the globe! ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŽ We have three main areas of activity: ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ“š First, RLRH offers a series of academic programmes, which support graduate access for people with lived experience of displacement. We target students who have completed a bachelorโ€™s degree and provide bridging courses and a graduate access scheme. Drawing upon teaching and mentorship from Oxford faculty, we prepare learners for academic paths across the social sciences and humanities. ๐Ÿ“œโœ๏ธ Second, RLRH has developed a portfolio of research projects led by researchers with lived experience of displacement. Our research agenda is guided by the concerns of forcibly displaced communities and aims to have a direct impact on policy and practice. RLRH researchers welcome collaboration with ideologically aligned partner organisations. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘จโš–Finally, RLRH prepares affiliates for livelihood opportunities with reputable organisations that are committed to supporting an agenda for transformative refugee leadership. We run a series of professional development workshops to prepare RLRH affiliates to advance in positions of influence at migration-related institutions, including UN agencies, NGOs, and CSOs. Equipped with foundational academic, research, and professional skills, RLRH affiliates have access to a wide range of career opportunities at ethical and influential organisations. ๐ŸŒ For regular RLRH updates, follow us here: https://twitter.com/RLRH_Oxford
