Refugia Design is an ecological landscape design/build and stewardship firm featured in Fine Gardening, Architectural Digest, Martha Stewart Living, Landscape Architecture Magazine and Gardenista. Since 2015, Refugia has been offering distinctive native landscape design for both residential and commercial green spaces throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut and Washington DC. Refugia also consults with public gardens, land trusts and organizations to help tell their story of people and place. Major exhibitors and award-winners at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Philadelphia Flower Show, Refugia is known for an immersive, naturalistic design aesthetic and meadow expertise for projects ranging in size from city yards to suburban estates. Ground-breaking initiatives include mobilizing biodiversity via our Greenway Network; 200+ productive resilient stepping stone habitats throughout PA, DE & NJ that promote connectivity, restore ecosystem services and offer refuge for insects and wildlife.
