Between 2017 and 2020, we transformed a wet pasture from a degraded swamp into a biodiverse birdwatcher’s paradise and permacultural farm.
We are developing concepts for the diversification of monocultures into biodiverse and profitable polycultures and provide guidance for their implementation.
We are an information and education center for sustainable agricultural systems and hold workshops about it.
As active members of AMISTOSA (the governmental associacion for the biological corridor connecting La Amistad National Park and the Osa Peninsula) our tree nursery specialises in endangered species to be distributed within the area of the corridor for reforestation.
We are working together with the Ministerio de Ambiente y Energía, AMISTOSA, the University of Costa Rica, Fundación des Parques Nacionales Costa Rica, Osa Conservation, Las Cruces Botanical Gardens, and local people.
