RegencyNem Insurance Ghana Limited emerged in September 2016 following a successful merger between Regency Alliance Insurance Ghana Limited and Nem Insurance (Ghana) Limited. This was in order to meet the National Insurance Commission’s requirement to increase the capital base of Insurance Companies in Ghana. This arrangement therefore makes RegencyNem Insurance Ghana Limited a fully local Insurance Company responsible only to its shareholders through the Board of Directors. We still draw technical support from our major shareholders, Regency Alliance Insurance PLC and Nem Insurance PLC both in Nigeria.
The merger has afforded us the opportunity of synergy not only in terms of marketing opportunities but also in Human Capital Development. All our departments are managed by well qualified and seasoned professionals who understand the industry. We provide critical security solutions and risk management services and our experience over the years coupled with our sound knowledge of the market makes us a leader in the General Insurance business in Ghana. Drawing on our deep industry and underwriting expertise, superior claims administration and market experience, we offer customized Insurance solutions in collaboration with insurance intermediaries and our technical partners.
