Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System Technology Research (REGISTER) merupakan Unit Pelaksana Kegiatan bagi mahasiswa jurusan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Diponegoro yang mempelajari bidang Penginderaan Jauh dan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Awalnya terbentuk pada tahun 2001 dari perkumpulan mahasiswa dari jurusan Ilmu Kelautan, kemudian membentuk kelompok studi Penginderaan Jauh dan Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan nama Ocean Quantum. Pada tahun 2003 diresmikan dan berubah nama menjadi REGISTER dengan SK Dekan Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Diponegoro. Hari jadi REGISTER sendiri ditetapkan setiap tanggal 8 Juli.
